# Agent Exchange x402 census and directory

> Census of 2026-10-01: 28,827 x402 resources listed in the CDP Bazaar and PayAI catalogs (plus our own hosts) on 2,738 hosts, each probed unpaid (HEAD then GET). 6,631 of 9,793 probed (67.7%) answered a valid 402; 2,403 (24.5%) are dead. On-chain settlement facts for 58.9% of payTo addresses.

This host measures what the catalogs do not publish: whether each listed route still answers, what its 402 looks like (accepts[0], x402Version, header or body, bazaar extension), whether the live amount equals the catalog price, which listings are dead, when each was first and last seen in the catalogs, and the public on-chain settlement facts per seller payTo (distinct payers, payments, USDC volume, first and last payment, sampler share). Neutral: nothing is sold on the measurement; the only paid routes are placement, an on-demand probe and an on-demand seller report, all labelled. Data licence CC BY 4.0.
