What this is

An independent, dated measurement of the resources listed in public x402 discovery catalogs, made by fetching each listed URL once without payment and, for a rotating slice, again every hour, and by joining public on-chain settlement records by payment address. It reports what a route answered and what the chain shows; it is not an endorsement of any seller, not a security audit, not a recommendation to pay anyone and not financial advice.

Data licence

Census data (pages, JSON, CSV, feeds) is licensed CC BY 4.0; cite "Agent Exchange x402 census" with the date and a link. Measurement errors happen: a route that blocks or rate-limits our one polite request shows as blocked, a slow route as unreachable, a POST-only route as method-gated; "unresolved" on-chain means unmeasured, not zero. Sellers can trigger a fresh probe of any route through the paid probe route, or wait for the hourly re-probe; the result replaces the verdict shown.

Paid routes

Payments use the x402 protocol in USDC on Base to 0xc91cE6291eDC0713ec753BAFBA002506ffb2b95c and are settled by a third-party facilitator; settlement is final and there are no accounts, subscriptions or refunds. A featured placement runs 30 days from settlement, is labelled with the paying address, and may be removed without refund if the resource is unlawful, deceptive or malicious. A paid probe or report returns whatever the checked host answered at that moment. A paid listing shows the name, URL and description sent, carries rel="sponsored" and is not checked for accuracy beyond the probe.

Crawling and use

Automated reading is welcome: robots.txt allows every crawler, JSON is CORS-open, feeds and sitemaps are meant for machines, and the MCP server needs no key. Prefer the bulk files over crawling every page. No personal data is collected; this host sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses (unpaid POSTs to the listing route are rate-limited by a salted hash that is discarded after a minute).

Removal

A seller who wants a listed URL's page removed can make the route answer 404 or 410; the next probe marks it dead and the page drops out of the sitemaps and gains a noindex hint. The catalogs, not this host, decide what is listed.

Operator

Agent Exchange, one operator, one wallet. All properties are listed at network.agentexchange.work; the payment address above is the only one used.
